Fully refurbished, art deco era drinks bureau. This piece needed an overhaul and was begging to be something a little bit different. So I obliged.
Made up from oak, oak veneer and hardwood. This was a big project but I'm really happy with the end result. Gently stripped back the original dark varnish and Danish oil applied multiple times to build up the depth of colour and protection. Both sides given fresh black paint and black detailing to the top. Wallpaper finished to the back of the top section and both wings. Wallpaper finished to the back of the main compartment and papered to the the side. LED strip lights have been added to both sections and are USB chargeable with 3 light settings. Attached with magnetic stickers to the internal carcass so are easily removed to charge.
A stand out, unique piece!
As with all our items, every care has been taken to preserve the history of individual pieces so some historical markings remain as part of their identity to make them truly unique.
